Charleston Connection: As the daughter of a self-proclaimed Southern belle and a British engineer, and having grown up in the town that started the American Revolution, I love all aspects of American history and culture, especially Southern culture. Though I’ve been to South Carolina a few times, I’ve yet to set foot in Charleston, so I’m looking forward to exploring all it has to offer!
Stephanie Bowen is a Senior Editor at Sourcebooks, Inc., one of the fastest growing independent publishers in the U.S. She manages the adult nonfiction line and acquires both nonfiction and fiction for the Sourcebooks and Landmark imprints, respectively. Prior to joining Sourcebooks, Stephanie was at Doubleday, an imprint of Random House, for five years, where she worked with a number of prize-winning and bestselling authors, including David Bach, Louann Brizendine, H.W.
